She also has a special interest in women’s health, including pre and postnatal care, as well as babies and children.

Personally, Elaine enjoys traveling and experiencing other cultures, as well as, hiking, snowboarding and yoga. Her yoga practice has allowed her to gain a better understanding of breathing, posture and how the body moves in a functional way.

Kaya graduated from her Registered Massage Therapy program in December and will be completing her board exams in February and March. While awaiting her exam results and registration number (expected April/May), she will be offering relaxation massage treatments at a reduced rate—an excellent opportunity to book while availability lasts. Born in Switzerland and raised in England, Kaya developed a deep passion for working with horses and competitive riding at a young age. She later moved to Germany to pursue this path further before coming to Canada seven years ago, combining work and travel along the way. Her journey led her to Kelowna, where she met and now lives with her husband. When she’s not in the treatment room, you’ll likely find Kaya at the farm with her horse or exploring the mountains with her dog—snowboarding, hiking, or snowshoeing depending on the season. She loves to travel and speaks German and Spanish (or, as she puts it, can certainly get by in both). An avid reader and writer, Kaya is just as happy with her nose in a book or a pen in hand when she is not outdoors. She brings curiosity, care, and a lifelong appreciation for movement into her massage therapy practice. Please note that intern massage services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. Massage appointments with an intern therapist cannot be billed through extended health insurance plans, ICBC, or WorkSafeBC.
